Love English Macmillan Dictionary Awards 2012

The Macmillan Dictionary Love English Awards – update 1

We’re only a week into the Love English competition and things are already moving along swiftly! Here is your first competition update.

So far 17 blogs and 11 websites have been nominated with a total of 111 votes being cast for blogs and 20 votes for websites. The most popular websites as of today are LingleOnline with 8 votes and World Wide Words (last year’s runner-up) with 4.

As for nominated blogs, Luke’s English Blog (last year’s winner) is way ahead with 55 votes and About English Idioms is next with 19 votes.

For those who have been nominated, there are badges available to download and display on your website or blog to ensure you get all the votes you deserve. (Full full competition details, see this page.)

If you haven’t nominated yet and are wondering who to show your love to it might help to look back on the year and think about which website or blog has been the most useful, entertaining, informative for you in terms of learning English, or improving your English, or just feeding your love of the English language? A Love English Award badge will be a great way for your favorites to begin 2013!
