Off-grid is the new BuzzWord this week on Macmillan Dictionary.

Off-grid is an adjective which describes the situation of not using public utilities such as electricity, gas, water and mains sewerage.

Some of the words which are associated with an off-grid lifestyle are: sustainability, unplugged, recycled, hand-powered, solar, self-sufficient, green.
