A new entry in the Open Dictionary this week is 3D fatigue. We’ve already seen words like exergaming coming from our interaction with technology, and overuse can lead to things like Wii elbow (=pain in the elbow from playing Wii games). Now, we can expect the endless action rushing towards us in 3D games and movies to leave us feeling worn out and stressed.
You know, I could just engage with real life, if that’s what I wanted, and it would be cheaper and easier too…
