Following the general election in May 2015, membership of the UK’s Labour Party grew steadily as supporters that prefer a return to the Labour principles proposed by Mr Corbyn rallied to his cause.
Jeremy Corbyn defeated a challenge to his leadership of the Party in 2016, but many of the members holding views that are less radical see him as a bar to success in the forthcoming general election on June 8th. Whether they or the Corbynistas are right will be revealed in a few days.
