We’re delighted to announce the second annual Macmillan Dictionary Love English Awards for 2012. Following last year’s highly successful and popular awards, we’re looking forward to seeing nominations for old favourites as well as for new sites that have sprung up over the last 12 months.
Where do you go when you need information, inspiration, guidance or resources in your desire to learn more about English or to satisfy your curiosity about the language? Which websites or blogs do you love, trust, and recommend to your friends, students or colleagues?

Nominations were accepted for any website or blog devoted primarily to the English language or language-related issues, whether for education or entertainment.

What is the deadline for voting?
- Voting ends on Monday 21 January 2013 (midnight GMT).
- Winners will be announced here on the blog on Tuesday 22 January 2013.
What are the prizes?
- The winning website and blog receive a Macmillan Dictionary Love English Awards 2012 winner’s badge and £100 worth of Amazon vouchers.
- The two runners-up in each category receive a ‘runner-up’ badge.
What are the terms & conditions?
- You can nominate and vote for 1 website / blog per IP address.
